I teach the Shaw Method of swimming which is based on the Alexander Technique - reducing tension and moving in a more relaxed, comfortable and mindful way... the way nature intended.

 

I teach beginners and nervous swimmers, as well as experienced swimmers who want to improve their comfort or speed in the water.

As well as improving your swimming, the Shaw Method also improves poise, brings greater freedom of movement, and promotes good body alignment all while minimising the risk of injury.

 

It's all about keeping your head, neck and spine in perfect alignment, enabling you to glide gracefully through the water, improve your health and master an important life skill.
